About Us
Paradyme Remodel & Design is a family-owned business in Southern California and Northern Colorado. We’re composed of design duo and husband-and-wife team, Dan and Kristin Barnett.
Meet Dan.
Dan is a licensed General Building Contractor who has been in the construction business for more than 30 years. His early roots trace back to being a stone & tile sales rep, a role that catapulted his passion for the industry and led to launching Paradyme Group, a successful company focused on countertop & tile installations and kitchen & bath remodels.
You can find some of his life’s work in Caesar’s Hotels, Red Rock & City Center in Vegas, Avalon Bay Communities, Johnstone Moyer Apartment Builders, and the Monterey City Civic Center.
Meet Kristin.
Kristin is a certified interior designer who’s always had a passion for design. Before getting her interior design certification in 2014, she spent 3 years as a Nordstrom stylist, her eye always drawn to patterns, colors and details. She then started her own interior design company, Design Friendzy, where she focused on furniture, accessories and holiday decor installations in Orange County.
As a multi-passionate professional, she spent some time in sales and marketing, still moonlighting as a design consultant on the side. Ultimately, she was drawn back home—into the design industry—full-time.
Oh! And one more thing. Not only did we design our own home, with Dan being an avid deep-sea fisherman, we refurbished a full retro fit to our 46 foot 1974 Bertram.
